CivicLift Winner of the 2014 HYPE Entrepreneurship Award!
Of 19 competing Connecticut startups, CivicLift won the HYPE Entrepreneurship Awards for the Pre-Launch category.
Just this past Wednesday we were honored to be selected as winners of the 2014 HYPE Entrepreneurship Award for Best Business – Pre Launch!
The rules were simple: present in front of a panel of judges and a live audience – and with five minutes to speak and five slides to persuade – convince them that our idea was poised to grow and succeed. And hey – we did it!
It was the first time we’ve shared our concept publicly and our first time competing live on stage for a grant. Sure, it was a little nerve racking – but well worth it! Along with sharing our excitement in our accomplishment, we a wanted to take the time to thank HYPE and the judges for not only choosing us, but giving us the opportunity to present among so many deserving contestants!
